Nancy Elliott, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Director of Montclair Breast Center, Montclair, New Jersey

Dr. Elliott is a Fellowship-trained breast surgeon who started practicing in Montclair in 1989. She completed training in breast disease at UMDMJ/ Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. She received her medical degree from Mount Sinai Medical Center and completed a general surgery residency at St. Vincent's Hospital, both in New York City. Dr. Elliott graduated with honors from Barnard College, Columbia University.

Dr. Elliott is well known not only for medical expertise in the field of breast disease evaluation and treatment, but particularly for her sensitivity and commitment to her patients. She has been honored by the New Jersey General Assembly and Montclair Economic Development Council as "Outstanding Woman of the Year in Science,” for her distinction as the founder and director of the Montclair Breast Center and as a "superlative physician who exemplifies the spirit of caring and compassion.”

Dr. Elliott lectures extensively on breast cancer to professional and public groups and has had numerous appearances on national tv as the breast cancer specialist. She is a member of many professional societies including the President's Council of the National Breast Cancer Coalition and a member of the New York Metropolitan Breast Cancer Group.

She lives in Montclair with her husband, Glenn Hersh, who designed, built and manages the new Breast Center. They have 3 children ages 19, 17, and 13.

Marcie Hertz, M.D. F.A.C.S.

Breast Surgeon at Montclair Breast Center, Montclair, New Jersey

Dr. Hertz has dedicated herself to the practice of breast surgery since joining Montclair Breast Center in 1994. She received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University where she was elected Phi Beta Kappa, and received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her residency and chief residency in general surgery at the Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center.

Dr. Hertz’s interest in breast diseases began early in her career a young attending surgeon and Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she rose to the position of Director of the Breast Service. Her expertise in breast care is highly regarded, earning her a listing in NJ Magazine’s Top Doctors, “Fifty Women You Should Know” and an appearance on “Good Day New York.” Dr. Hertz is an author of multiple research publications, and has been involved in medical research on various aspects of breast disease.

James Saidi, M.D.

James Saidi, M.D. is a graduate of Cornell University and the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical School. He completed his training in general surgery and urology at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons where he was named a Pfizer Scholar in Urology. He is board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has co-authored many journal articles and abstracts and is a member of various medical and urological societies. He is currently in private practice in the Montclair Urological Group in Glen Ridge, New Jersey.


Konstantin Walmsley, M.D.

Konstantin Walmsley, M.D. graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania and then attended Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. After completing his residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell in Urology, he spent a year at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center becoming fellowship-trained in Female Urology and Voiding Dysfunction. He is board certified as a Diplomat of the American Board of Urology. He is currently in private practice in Glen Ridge, NJ. Dr. Walmsley strives to provide cutting-edge care to his patients in a compassionate and sensitive fashion.


Edmund Liu, M.D.

Edmund Liu, M.D. completed his undergraduate studies at University of Pennsylvania and then received his medical training at Tufts University School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his general surgery and otolaryngology training at New York University. He completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at U. Texas Health Science Center in Houston under Dr. Russell Kridel, former president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Liu is in solo private practice in Verona, NJ. He is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck


Robert P. Caruso, M.D.

Dr. CarusoDr. Caruso completed his General and Urologic Surgery training at New York University. He then completed a Clinical Fellowship in Robotic and Laparoscopic Urologic Surgery in San Antonio, Texas.

As a resident and fellowship physician he co-authored text book chapters on transperitoneal laparoscopic radical nephrectomy, lasers in urology, and published articles on robot-assisted surgery and prostate cancer.

A native of northern New Jersey, Dr. Caruso pursued his premedical studies at Montclair State College where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He then earned his M.D. from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School in Newark where he graduated with honors (Alpha Omega Alpha) and won several awards at graduation.

Dr. Caruso has a particular interest in minimally invasive treatments for prostate and kidney cancer including laparoscopic and robot-assisted surgery and treatments for incontinence in both men and women. He is experienced in other state of the art therapies for cancer and benign diseases including cryoablation, radio frequency ablation, and various types of laser treatments.


Sal Lombardo, M.D.

  • Dr. Lombardo attended William Paterson University in New Jersey where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
  • Dr. Lombardo earned his medical degree from Hahnemann School of Medicine in Pennsylvania where he was awarded the Ellsworth Scholarship.
  • He completed his Urology residency at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School where he was awarded the "Outstanding Laparoscopic Resident Surgeon Award".
  • Dr. Lombardo's interests focus on laparoscopic and robotic surgery, urologic oncology, urinary incontinence, stone disease and voiding dysfunction.
  • Dr. Lombardo is fluent in Italian and Spanish.

Eric Joseph, M.D.

Dr. JosephDr. Joseph is a dual board-certified ENT & facial plastic surgeon.
